SAP-certified solutions for archiving, decommissioning and extraction

TJC Group has completed 23 SAP certification processes since 2008. Four software solutions in the TJC Group portfolio have been certified by SAP’s Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC). TJC Group’s SAP-certified solutions cover SAP data archiving with the Archiving Sessions Cockpit (ASC), legacy system decommissioning with the Enterprise Legacy System Application (ELSA), SAP data extraction with the Audit Extraction Cockpit (AEC), and French tax compliance with the File of Accounting Entries (FEC). Today, more than 500 customers worldwide use TJC Group’s SAP-certified solutions across a wide range of industries and geographies.

Introduction

In September 2026, SAP announced the 30th anniversary of its certification programme, celebrating a path that began in 1996 with fewer than 1,000 certified professionals and has since grown to encompass hundreds of thousands of certifications each year.

For TJC Group, this anniversary is particularly meaningful. Founded in 1997, just one year after SAP launched its certification programme, TJC Group will celebrate its own 30th anniversary in January 2027. Over the years, we have built a deep and enduring relationship with SAP, achieving our first product certification in 2008.

This article looks back at SAP’s certification milestone, explores TJC Group’s own certification path, and introduces the four SAP-certified products we offer to help organisations manage their data with confidence.

SAP certification: 30 years of trust

When SAP introduced its certification programme in 1996, the goal was clear: to provide a trusted way for professionals and partners to validate their SAP expertise. What began with a handful of SAP R/3 exams has since expanded to cover SAP’s full portfolio, from SAP NetWeaver and SAP Business One to SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and AI-focused credentials today.

For SAP partners like TJC Group, product certification through the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) validates that a partner’s software solutions integrate consistently with SAP systems, meet SAP’s technical standards, and deliver reliable performance in customer environments.

TJC Group’s certification path: from 2008 to today

TJC Group’s relationship with SAP certification stretches back nearly two decades. Here are the key milestones:

DateMilestone
2008 — First SAP certificationThe ASC v3.0 was certified for the first time on SAP NetWeaver 7.0.
2018 — First solution SAP-certified for S/4HANAThe ASC was our first solution SAP-certified for SAP S/4HANA, followed by the AEC in 2019, and the FEC in 2020.
2020 — First SAP BTP certificationELSA was our first application certified as built on SAP BTP (then SAP Cloud Platform), marking our entry into the cloud era.
2023 — First certification for HANA Cloud, Private EditionThe FEC achieved the first certification for HANA Cloud, Private Edition, followed by the ASC and the AEC.

2024 and beyond — First RISE certification
We started the journey towards RISE certifications.

In total, TJC Group has successfully completed 23 certification processes with SAP. Each certification cycle calls for rigorous testing, integration validation, and compliance with SAP’s changing standards.

Our SAP-certified product portfolio

TJC Group currently maintains four SAP-certified software solutions, each tackling a critical aspect of data management across the SAP landscape.

Archiving Sessions Cockpit (ASC)

The Archiving Sessions Cockpit (ASC) automates and governs the entire SAP data archiving process, from scheduling and execution to monitoring and recovery.

Certification status: ASC is certified for deployment on SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition via Add-On Deployment for RISE with SAP. ASC for S/4HANA release 2025 is also available.

Built within a dedicated SAP namespace: ASC is delivered within TJC Group’s dedicated SAP namespace (/TJC/), which provides important technical benefits:

  • Naming conflict prevention: ASC objects never clash with SAP standard content or customer developments.
  • Upgrade independence: SAP will never overwrite partner namespace objects during upgrades.
  • Independent release cycle: ASC evolves on its own schedule, independently of SAP’s roadmap.
  • Full SAP compatibility: ASC remains fully compatible with SAP environments at all times.

Diversey achieved impressive results, removing 27.6 terabytes across its landscape and archiving 120 million documents in just three months.

Enterprise Legacy System Application (ELSA)

ELSA is TJC Group’s cloud-based solution for legacy system decommissioning, enabling organisations to securely shut down legacy SAP and non-SAP systems whilst maintaining compliant access to historical data.

Certification status: ELSA has been continuously certified as Built on SAP Business Technology Platform via the BTP-EXT integration scenario since January 2022, most recently re-certified in January 2026. It is listed on the SAP Store and the SAP Certified Solutions Directory.

In practice: A leading global manufacturer used ELSA to decommission its legacy SAP ECC system two years after migrating to S/4HANA, achieving significant cost savings whilst retaining critical historical data.

Audit Extraction Cockpit (AEC)

The Audit Extraction Cockpit (AEC) enables organisations to quickly and securely extract large volumes of tax and audit data from live or archived SAP environments without impacting system performance.

Certification status: AEC has been certified for deployment on SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition via the Add-On Deployment for RISE with SAP integration scenario.

Fichier des Écritures Comptables (FEC)

The FEC software by TJC Group simplifies the generation, verification, and optimisation of the File of Accounting Entries required by French tax authorities. Compatible with SAP versions from ECC6 to S/4HANA, it serves over 400 customers worldwide.

Certification status: FEC is SAP-certified for S/4HANA, offering pre-validation, balance and carry-forward controls, and automated compliance checks.

What SAP certification means for our clients

  • Interoperability: Certified solutions are tested and validated within SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA and RISE with SAP.
  • Quality and reliability: SAP ICC rigorously tests each certification.
  • Future-readiness: Continuous re-certification shows commitment to SAP’s evolving roadmap.
  • Reduced risk: Certified solutions give teams confidence in tested, proven tools.

With 23 certifications since 2008 and more than 500 customers worldwide, TJC Group’s historic record speaks for itself.

A pledge to quality that goes beyond certification

SAP certification is not a prerequisite for TJC Group’s code quality, nor an excuse to cut corners elsewhere. All code built within our /TJC/ namespaces is designed to meet applicable SAP certification requirements wherever technically relevant and feasible, even when we choose not to pursue formal certification.

Our quality standards also go beyond SAP certification’s scope, including additional non-SAP certifications such as penetration testing for solutions deployed on SAP BTP.

Key takeaways

  1. SAP certification is a mark of trust. It remains the gold standard for validating partner solutions.
  2. 23 SAP certifications, 500+ customers worldwide. Every product in our portfolio has been certified by SAP ICC.
  3. Our certified products cover the full data lifecycle. From archiving and tax compliance to extraction and decommissioning.
  4. Certification is not a one-off exercise. We continuously re-certify for the latest SAP releases.
  5. Real-world results back up the certification. From Diversey’s 27.6 terabytes archived to JC Decaux’s streamlined M&A data extraction.
