It is a journey that involves migrating multiple ERP databases running in SAP ECC6, into a single S/4HANA system.

In 2016, BT Group engaged on an initial SAP Data Archiving project that quickly expanded into 3 different projects. These have included moving its data centre, transitioning EE into the BT environment, working towards compliance with GDPR regulations and preparing for BT’s migration from legacy Oracle to HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC). In 2022, TJC Group has assisted BT Group with a Data tiering and Data archiving strategy with a view to keep data growth under control before the final move to S/4 HANA.
